This is one sweet little car...
And look what he brought home from our oldest son's house! Our farmer son has a great garden just about every year. We also have a watermelon, honey dew, some cabbage, and all kinds of peppers. I can hardly wait to have some fried green tomatoes.
When honey was in Arkansas he stayed with his niece. She sent him home with this for me.... an unfinished quilt top, started by his mother years ago. She passed away in the late 70's but it stayed in a chest for many more years until after his father passed in the 80's and then was not discovered until his brother Wyett, who never left home passed away in the late 90's. I can hardly wait to finish it. I think it will be my project for this winter. Sure will look nice on our bed.
This is a picture of Dad & Mon Massey taken not to long before she passed away. She was a great cook and quilter but he could grow anything.....these beautiful dahlia was just a sample.
Long gone but not forgotten.
